Project Lecturer, Graduate School of Economics
University of Tokyo · 東京大学大学院経済学研究科 特任講師
I am an economist working at the intersection of computational economics, econometrics, and macroeconomics. My work uses modern numerical and machine-learning methods to study quantitative economic models.
About
I am a Project Lecturer (特任講師) in the Graduate School of Economics at the University of Tokyo. I completed my PhD in Economics at the University of Warwick, following postgraduate study at the University of Bath and undergraduate study at the Central University of Finance and Economics (CUFE) in Beijing. I was born in Dongguan, Guangdong, China.
My research applies computational and statistical methods — including reinforcement learning and deep-learning techniques — to problems in macroeconomics and econometrics. I also teach computational economics to graduate students at the University of Tokyo.
